Sunday Group Training: 11:30 AM (summer months), 2:00 PM (fall/winter months), most Sundays. Email or call for location and activity scheduled.
Bring a flat leash, flat or training collar. No retractable leashes or harnesses, please. Also bring water for you and your dog.
Please respect the 10 foot rule (do not approach anyone or their dog within a 10’ radius, with your leashed dog before and during training, unless instructed otherwise). $20.00 (including tax).

Off-leash training at Frank Ortiz Park 2:00 PM, 160 Camino De Las Crucitas. Meet at the largest and furthest west parking area by the water station/message board. Bring ample sun gear and water for you and your dog. Help your dog acclimate by placing him/her in a stay, then unload from car, immediately placing them into a sit/stay. Keep in a stay, walk away towards the field, and then call. When dog approaches, continue to call them to you and immediately place in a sit/stay again. This sets the stage for training around other off-leash dogs.

We are postponing our mountain hikes until we are clear of fire danger in the National Forest Areas. Hang tight but keep training. This week we will focus on recall, and stay commands.
